Please, come worship with us, whether at the Traditional Service, Family Service, Monday Evening Healing Service or other events.

You will be amazed at how welcome you feel. Our congregation is a place to grow spiritually in Christ, make friends and lasting relationships.

Worship Services

There are a number of ways you can worship with us.

Family Service: Sundays at 8:30 a.m.

A more relaxed worship service where we embrace the energy of the children as we teach them how Christ can be a part of their lives. The First Service Band encourages children to get up on their feet and join in with instruments and dance. Learn more in our service bulletin.

Traditional Service: Sundays at 11:00 a.m.-September-May

Summer Services: 8:30 am each year and 10:15 a.m.

Featuring organ and choir music with familiar hymns led by the Chancel Choir, a pastoral prayer, inspirational sermons, and readings of the Holy Word from scriptures. Learn more in our service bulletin.

Communion is served the first Sunday of each month at both services.

Delicious  home made food,sanwiches,hot dogs, soups


The Deacons are collecting giftcards for Thanksgiving and Christmas for those in our church who need help. Please call the church office for more information.


COATS FOR KIDS – Missions is collecting winter coats for children and adults through January 16th, 2018. Drop your donations in bins located in the church Fireside Room. Coats should be gently used and of good quality. Just Winter Coats! For more information please call the church office.


ANGEL TREE –  We will be putting together a “Angel Tree” for the Holiday fair on Nov 17 and 18th We are asking each member of the church to donate an Angel ornament that will be put on the tree that will be silently auctioned off on Nov 19th All ornaments to be dropped off at the church by Nov12th. For further info call the church office.


Just What is #2069   Second Church supports the yard signs that you may have seen in a growing number of locations are a stark reminder that in 2016, in the State of Massachusetts alone, 2,069 beautiful souls died as a direct result of opioid abuse and addiction.

The signs are not intended to be simply a memorial to those lost but a call for deeper awareness of this epidemic in our midst… … … Please as a faith community, an individual, a family or a business join us in this effort. Contact Second Church for further information or to order a #2069 sign.



The Second Church of Plymouth is actively seeking men and women to join our church choir. There are openings for all parts Altos, Sopranos, Tenors, Baritones and Basses. Please send an email or call Second Church or contact Jane Costa-Elliot at 508-746-7576 for further information.


FEEDING The Homeless-if you or a small group would like to provide a meal for the homeless  let Linda Emo know at Missions:, and she will book you on the meal schedule. The Homeless Task force are looking for meals for January through March. You will be feeding up to 15-20 people at Christ Church on Court St or First Baptist Church on Westerly Road, Meals start at 6 pm and they do not want more than 4 people serving the cooked meal.


Missions is collecting toiletries, socks, warm clothes and underwear for homeless men and women. Please leave your donations in the Fireplace room at Second Church in the black bin marked for the Homeless.


FLOWERS for the ALTER, If you would like to have flowers placed on the alter, please contact the church office or sign up in the narthex.

Prayer and Healing Services – The Third Monday of each month. (7 PM) at Second Church. All Are Welcome , regardless of where you are in your journey, who wish to be prayed over for illness, personal problems, addiction problems of any kind, family issues, and church life. Please extend an invitation to your  friends and neighbors.


Wednesday Bible Study:  Studying different Bible passages throughout the year. Wednesday Evenings 7 pm at the church.  All are welcome! Call church office for specifics.


Second Church Services on Cable TV: Every Sunday at 6:30 PM and Thursdays at 9 am you can watch our church services on PACTV Comcast Channel 13 and Verizon Channel 43.


Gift of Love:   If you want to honor or memorialize someone and aren’t sure what to do, why not consider a Gift of Love. If you are interested, please pick up a form in the narthex or contact the church office.
